Guys & Dolls

Teenage Sensations

Super teens star in this lively story of gamblers, Salvation Army girls and night club dancers of New York in the 1950's. The Youngsters certainly do justice to the Frank Loesser musical, none better than 16 year old Danni Jones, playing the "well known fiancee" Miss Adelaide from the Hot Box Club. Laura Gretton and Richard Bateman are a fine partnership as the Salvation Army girl, Sarah Brown, and notorious gambler, Sky Masterson. Alex Preston (Nathan Detroit), Joseph Capella (Benny Southstreet), and Max Williams (Nicely Nicely Johnson) impress in a well staged show directed by Alan Hackett. Guys and Dolls sing on to tomorrow.
